Nobel Truth Prize
Eons ago I saw a great cartoon, ever so prevailing. Unfortunately, I cannot remember where and by whom. But, nevertheless, the author deserves a prize comparable to Nobel's famous award, therefore I will at least tell his little story. Imagine it, for example, as a movie clip like a commercial.
[A Man walks along a dirty street. He is in hurry, since the surrounding does not look trustworthy. Suddenly another man, a young man in dirty and tattered clothes, steps up to the passerby.]
Young beggar:
Have you got a few coins for me, sir?
Passerby:
You should be ashamed of yourself, young man. What about working for your money?
Young beggar (very excited):
You got work for me?
[And then, all of a sudden and from every corner and niche, people are stepping up in droves, beggars and hoboes, male and female, young and old, hastily striding toward the passerby, waving and shouting and screaming in rapture.]
Beggars and Hoboes:
WORK! He's got WORK! WORK!! WORK!!!

yet superfan
his rigid hair so very much annoying
as well, his nose so far from being fair
there's just no point in watching and enjoying
and neither stand his rigmarole, and care
but you grow fond of all his stupid thinking
and all his stunts and silly little jokes
you might as well have spent the evening drinking
at least, with him, there's no one there who smokes

World of Mine
When I grew up I know I saw
that everything I knew was all around me
the sky, so high above, my mother's love
the sun, the stars, the moon, my cradle tune
I was the center of it all
It was my call
But even when I learned that nature's law
was not for me alone but for eternity
I still was part of it, in every minute
I felt the world go round with lights and sound
I was the center of it all
It was my call
I'll catch that call of every wonder
At night and day and anyway
I'll catch my call within my song
My wasted heart so torn asunder
O world of mine, I never blunder
And if you challenge me each day
You're far too right as to be wrong
With lightning and thunder

If I die, I forgive you;
if I live, we shall see. (Spanish Proverb)
