fifty-five
no stupid roses or pink fairies
the seed is there you said
and you hoped it to grow
because you knew it all along
empathy is the key ability
and the knowledge of it
the only righteous power
even though you left
the pride of lions behind
your two-winged butterfly
could have stood its ground
could have had another chance
could have made another journey
towards the doctor maybe
or even the sheik's son
who could have walked beside you
who could have been a true friend
would have maybe
you never know while still flying
when far below the oceans are in turmoil
high above only one thing is for sure:
they would have never let you
but why on earth did you have to
make it so hard for yourself
and seek again such a challenge
that (you must have known)
could never be overcome
you should have just believed it
that you deserve a comfort landing
a way you could have passed fifty-five
