a well known sound has reached me from a distance
i was surprised and all astonishment
right from the past it came into existence
and brought a long lost game not to an end
what made me sigh and wheep is long forgotten
and now i ask myself: what was it like
some sixtyfour of hundred days rock bottom
and still prepared to take another strike
