The Final(e) Thruth
Have you ever experienced a long term happiness after the ending of a favoured TV series or a book you loved? I mean, you have been happy while watching or reading it. Where did this happiness go?
Well, if it was for a bad ending. We all know how disappointing a tragic one can be. Or if it was for a spoilt ending. The fears we have if something we have grown fond of is going to come to an end. Will it be satisfying, or, at least, suitable?
But what if the ending is good in both senses? Satisfying, suitable, shouldn't we be happy? There we are, covered in tears, and the grief won't leave for days or even weeks after the wonderful finale. It could not have been more heartbreaking if it had been a bad ending.
Therefore we will have to face the final truth: There is nothing that ends well.
