Beyond Imagination
When we want to understand we have to feel. That is why we adore, why we ache, crave, long for something, or someone. We want to be close to be enlightened by touch.
And there is more to that. Our understanding goes along, hand in hand, so to speak, with grasping. We all are the blindest among the blind, as we might be seeing more then them, maybe, but we perceive just like they do, and still understand less. Because the blind have a special connection to touch, they have a far better understanding of the world in many ways.
That is just our world. So what about the many different worlds that might be out there? We already understand not much of this universe in its infinity. What results of understanding could machines and computers give us, until they will have learned to feel?
If we really want to explore space, if we want to go beyond imagination, we will desperately need manned space craft.

Tirade Versus Trade
I'm not a writer. Who'll want to be a writer anyway if this is tied to certain standards. After all, I don't write for my own amusement. I write because I have to. Because if I didn't I'd choke on the words, I'd burst, detonate, explode, implode, all at the same time. Because it hurts not to touch the keyboard or hold a pen and write down what is there. This is not for me or for you, this is a necessity. A survival technique.
Some say, what's written should be written for an audience. Even a target audience. Marketing and sales strategies should guide my way. That is so inconceivable that I'd stop writing full stop, if it was the only truth. That is, of course, if I could stop. There is a constant flow of thoughts to be dealt with, and I always believed it's the essence of being human that we think, of being altogether - if I recall that right from the philosophers.
So when I produce a text, I'm within this spirit, this realm of thoughts, which is actually the only thing that does survive, when we have to go. Thoughts cannot be killed, they cannot be wiped out or deleted, they live. They can be thought again and again by different people in different times. And that is one reason to be, to keep connected throughout the centuries. And that is a way of separating good from evil, too, if you look at those whose thoughts you share. They - the thoughts - will judge you quite accurately.
People seem to think that what doesn't sell isn't worth anything. What they are interested in is only their share in the big game. They need success, control, power, money. And they just know that writing - or reading - won't help them reach any of their goals. But on the other hand, there was no power in history that did not feel the urge to express itself. There is no real success, if you don't talk about it. There won't be full control without mind-altering persuasion. Written or spoken, we all need words. Specific words.
So what I really am is a word turner. I work with my material like a carpenter, and then I offer it. A word turning trader. And here I am, always being told that a trade in hand finds gold in every land.
